Safelite Solutions Network eligibility and application

Auto Glass Repair and Replacement shops may apply to participate in our network for auto glass insurance work. Shops considering participation in the program are required to comply with the requirements.

Namely, that an applicant shop must:

  • Carry at least $500,000 in general or commercial liability insurance.
  • Display professional signage on a storefront and/or service vehicle which is easily identifiable to the public (pictures are required for consideration) and wear appropriate attire.
  • The shop should be in business and active within the Safelite Solutions Network database as a non-participant glass service provider for at least 12 months prior to consideration.
  • Provide all photographs, details and documents requested by the application.
  • Meet or exceed a customer service Net Promoter Score (NPS) of at least 75.
  • Provide evidence of ongoing training for installers or windshield repair technicians to demonstrate compliance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for automotive glass replacement.
  • Must have internet access and agree to register your shop at You must also provide a valid email address to be used for business correspondence with the Safelite Solutions.
  • Provide evidence of completion of employee background checks as required by any insurance or fleet client.

Participant shall comply with all laws and regulations of government and public authorities, including, but not limited to, the requirements of all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, as may be amended from time to time.

Applications are reviewed and evaluated by the National Contract Manager. Evaluations include, but are not limited to; qualified repair ratio, OEM/Dealer usage, new molding usage, invoice cycle times, claim cancellation rates and other available data.
